The spiked design of the Deluxe Weed Rake is best used to clean up spots and for dragging up low lying weed and debris. I have also used this to find bloodworm beds and other natural food areas.

We recommend that you use a strong braid (we suggest a minimum of 30lb Braid) and begin clearing the channel to your chosen spot from the end nearest to your swim first. The Weed Rake picks up very large quantities of weed if cast behind a band of weed so be careful not to lose the rake and braid by being ‘over ambitious’ in trying to rake in too much heavy weed in one go.
